Emmie taught me a new form today, a first dan ITF form called Gye-Baek.
From http://www.barrel.net/patterns.php:
Ge-Baek Tul (44 Movements)
Ge-Baek is named after Ge-Baek, a great general in the Baek-Je Dynasty (660AD). The diagram represents his severe and strict military discipline.
It’s a hard form, much different from the WTF forms that I am used to with strange strikes and stance transitions. But, its a lot of fun to learn new forms from other systems.

Trying to find a place to live across the country is not easy. Especially when the university housing fills up and doesn’t tell you until less than a month before you were going to move. Ah well. I’ll just keep packing up and trying to sell my stuff. Seriously, if you want some stuff come over and make an offer.

My first blog post in years! I am in Cleveland, sweating and doing nothing much. I went to the local Martial Arts store today and bought a uniform (wrong size), so I had to go back. But now I have a nice new black uniform! Haven’t done much else, except help make and eat culduni (Polish pork dumplings), one of the best foods ever. Hopefully I’ll get motivated after my food settles to go run since I’m not doing TKD. I could do forms, but a little awkward in the front lawn with a 4 lane major street next to it. Most likely I’ll work more on my website (www.kennydaily.net) and my MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/kennydaily). Check them out!
